Another year, a new intern

We've had a little bit of change happen around here in the past couple of days....things always work out how they should! I’m thrilled to have Callie and her dog Tamale here- Welcome to AER Callie Rulli!

Hi! I’m a Wyoming native named Callie Rulli, interning with Acadia Equine Rehabilitation and RMSAAM. I have a bachelors degree in animal science, and half a masters in neuroscience both from the University of Wyoming. Halfway through the latter, I realized that academia wasn’t for me…no matter how much I loved the topic. I wanted to be able to make a difference with animals (not just get buried in publication deadlines), and that’s what led me to pursue massage and accupressure classes through RMSAAM. Here I can put my love of animals, anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience to work. My goal is to obtain a Master level certification for working on horses and dogs, and I’m getting there! I have a golden retriever named Tamale who keeps me on my toes, and many years of ranch work (including a bison ranch) and horse experience. I’m excited to work with these two groups, and be able to incorporate my background and education into learning new information. I’m to be a sponge, absorbing as much as possible!
